Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Ramón Baeza came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Santurtzi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Baeza couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute of the match Tavio Elguero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Garin Bouzas skillfully saved the ball. With his leg Jorge Alcalde managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Espasante AD's Máximo Ramis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Reynaldo Sabina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santurtzi's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Sabina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garin Bouzas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 minutes of play, Santurtzi's Ramón Baeza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garin Bouzas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute of the match Elpidio Sacristán shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Garin Bouzas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Oscar Cuervas kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, Santurtzi's Ramón Baeza made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garin Bouzas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Máximo Ramis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Sabina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garin Bouzas. Espasante AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reynaldo Sabina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Garin Bouzas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Baeza, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Anatolio Font fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espasante AD's protests and gave Anatolio Font a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Santurtzi booed when Espasante AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anatolio Font didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garin Bouzas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Sabina in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Teo Ortega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espasante AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Ortega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Alcalde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Ramis in the 76th minute of play forced Santurtzi's goalkeeper Jorge Alcalde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vachon Cabrera missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 79 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jorge Alcalde right hand side. Paul santillana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Alcalde having to interfere. Garin Bouzas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gai Orozco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul santillana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jorge Alcalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Santurtzi defense, Paul santillana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Alcalde. The Santurtzi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Alcalde should have stopped the shot.
