Campuso San Juan's Aarón Gonzáles shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Emmanuel Acedo but with some difficulty. Mingo Olano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Emmanuel Acedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Leobardo Fuster notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Navas De San Juan's Emmanuel Acedo. Emmanuel Acedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emmanuel Acedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mingo Olano in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Navas De San Juan's zone, Leobardo Fuster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The referee ignored Campuso San Juan's protests and gave Aarón Gonzáles a yellow card for diving instead. If Ibon De Pedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ibon De Pedro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ibon De Pedro got free with Juan-Pablo Cayuela in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ibon De Pedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Pablo Cayuela having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Campuso San Juan's Mingo Olano got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Ibon De Pedro came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Navas De San Juan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ibon De Pedro couldn't finish the play. Ibon De Pedros short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Juan-Pablo Cayuela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ibon De Pedro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Navas De San Juan's supporters rose to their feet, but Ibon De Pedro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan-Pablo Cayuela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Campuso San Juan's goalkeeper Juan-Pablo Cayuela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ibon De Pedro. After a defensive mix-up in Navas De San Juan's zone, Artemio Ecija stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emmanuel Acedo came out of the goal and Artemio Ecija tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mingo Olano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanuel Acedo having to interfere. Mingo Olano struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Emmanuel Acedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campuso San Juan. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Navas De San Juan's goalkeeper Emmanuel Acedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Mingo Olano put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Emmanuel Acedo. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
