After having played for 6 minutes, Beti Soldado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sant Gregori FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beti Soldado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tito Zafrilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beti Soldado, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Efraín Vidal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tito Zafrilla. El Neveral AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Beti Soldado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iñaki Rivas struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Tito Zafrilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sant Gregori FC. If Alfronso Nafría had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Leal Villafane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Zafrilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beti Soldado in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tito Zafrilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iñaki Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iñaki Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beti Soldado in the 39th minute of play forced El Neveral AFC's goalkeeper Tito Zafrilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beti Soldado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bonifacio Rossello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavian Echavarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifacio Rossello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavian Echavarri in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sant Gregori FC's Luis-Javier Marines got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Heli Bartumeu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beti Soldado in the 66th minute of play forced El Neveral AFC's goalkeeper Tito Zafrilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sant Gregori FC's Efraín Vidal got a free kick in the 67th minute. Bonifacio Rossello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavian Echavarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Alfronso Nafría cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bonifacio Rossello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 1-1 became the score in the 84th minute when Iñaki Rivas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 88 minutes, Heli Bartumeu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Neveral AFC and the Sant Gregori FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sant Gregori FC booed when El Neveral AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heli Bartumeu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tito Zafrilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iñaki Rivas went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Tito Zafrilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eneas Buendia in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sant Gregori FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
