If Che Bodelon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, Guillena SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoilo Camara to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Guillena SAD's Nayely Canal got a free kick in the 21st minute. Vermudo Alcalde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Babia's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Nayely Canal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Román Quesada made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Silio's Rogelio Castaño got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Nayely Canal came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Guillena SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nayely Canal couldn't finish the play. Guillena SAD's Vermudo Alcalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Babia in the 36th minute of play. After 38 minutes Guillena SAD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gorka Jubera who took care of the corner kick. Vermudo Alcalde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Babia in the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusebio Babia to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Che Bodelon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Román Quesada was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Che Bodelon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Román Quesada having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Silio got a freekick which was hit by Lain Carballido. If Eusebio Babia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Guillena SAD's goalkeeper Vermudo Alcalde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastián Sauca. When Lain Carballido fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silio's protests and gave Lain Carballido a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Guillena SAD got a freekick which was hit by Zoilo Camara. Che Bodelon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Román Quesada having to interfere. Guillena SAD were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
