A collision led to Campico getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Carlos Leon hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Silio's goal looked a bit too open when Amarante Canturri came free, but Román Quesada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Leon's late challenge caught a Silio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Campico's Gai De Pedro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Sauca in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Campico booed when Silio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celino Santander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amor Espinosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Román Quesada made a huge save. Silio's Román Quesada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Silio from getting a goal against them. Eusebio Babia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amor Espinosa succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Sebastián Sauca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amor Espinosa kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Sebastián Sauca struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gai De Pedro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silio. After 42 played minutes Campico got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Leon. When Silio's Eusebio Babia in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Campico's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Amarante Canturri got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Amarante Canturri made the kick off in the second half. Sebastián Sauca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Sebastián Sauca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Silio's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastián Sauca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gai De Pedro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusebio Babia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Eusebio Babia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Campico's Gai De Pedro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Campico from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Sebastián Sauca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gai De Pedro, passed just outside the right post. Campico's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
