Fresco Munoz charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fresco Munoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Fresco Munoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galsino Quintas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Agapito Japón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agapito Japón stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lluc Sirvent's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Lorcha's Froilan Ortiz got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Qwinton Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Almafra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Raya to maneuver through the defense. Jesús Leon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Zafrilla in the 25th minute of play. If Elvis Zafrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Qwinton Rojas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesús Leon was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After having played for 34 minutes, Galsino Quintas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almafra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Galsino Quintas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lluc Sirvent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agapito Japón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galsino Quintas in the 40th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Lorcha got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Ortiz. In the 46th minute of the match Almafra got a corner. Lorcha's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fresco Munoz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Fresco Munoz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agapito Japón quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qwinton Rojas made a kick off. In the 54th minute Qwinton Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesús Leon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lluc Sirvent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galsino Quintas struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Agapito Japón didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almafra. 65 minutes into the match, Almafra's goal looked a bit too open when Elvis Zafrilla came free, but Jesús Leon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Almafra's Cristo Amer got a free kick in the 66th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lorcha fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Almafra a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fresco Munoz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lorcha's Agapito Japón. 0-1. Claus Caminero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lorcha getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Froilan Ortiz hit a great ball. Jesús Leon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Zafrilla in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute Elvis Zafrilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesús Leon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galsino Quintas in the 89th minute of play forced Lorcha's goalkeeper Agapito Japón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Qwinton Rojas fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lorcha's protests and gave Qwinton Rojas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lorcha's Qwinton Rojas got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lluc Sirvent during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lluc Sirvent hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The Almafra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Almafra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
