The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Bittor Castillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafo Estrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Colsa having to interfere. Elazar Galdamez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafo Estrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Justino Colsa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Cosme Canal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Elazar Galdamez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firman Belalcaraz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fuenlabrada's Gergori Rivera got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Villafranqueza's Justino Colsa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafo Estrada in the 28th minute of play. If Serafo Estrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Villafranqueza's goal looked a bit too open when Serafo Estrada came free, but Justino Colsa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Colsa came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Fuenlabrada's Bittor Castillo. But to his dismay, Bittor Castillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Elazar Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villafranqueza's supporters rose to their feet, but Elazar Galdamez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Firman Belalcaraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Firman Belalcaraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Reina in the 39th minute of play. Elazar Galdamez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Bittor Castillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Serafo Estrada made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Serafo Estrada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuenlabrada's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafo Estrada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justino Colsa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Fuenlabrada's Bittor Castillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Colsa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Justino Colsa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafo Estrada in the 72nd minute of the match. Bittor Castillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Colsa having to interfere. Elazar Galdamez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Firman Belalcaraz having to make a save. Fuenlabrada's Serafo Estrada got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Firman Belalcaraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elazar Galdamez in the 95th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Reina in the 97th minute of play forced Fuenlabrada's goalkeeper Firman Belalcaraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Villafranqueza supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fuenlabrada's performance. The match ended with a win for Fuenlabrada.
