Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Azarruya's Sergio Diez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martino Unzueta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guaberto Vadillos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nono Aceves. In the 16th minute, Gaztea Fuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes Las Gorgollitas got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Blanco. 19 minutes into the match, Las Gorgollitas's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Diez came free, but Fagondo Incera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sergio Diez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomi Prats succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After 27 minutes, Gaztea Fuente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Gorgollitas and the Azarruya players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Las Gorgollitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaztea Fuente to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match, Alfons Duarte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guaberto Vadillos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 37 minutes into the game, Las Gorgollitas's Martino Unzueta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Vadillos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, Azarruya's Guaberto Vadillos got control of the ball when Martino Unzueta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute Sergio Diez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fagondo Incera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Las Gorgollitas getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Nono Aceves hit a great ball. Sergio Diez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fagondo Incera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfons Duarte was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santo Cameno during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Las Gorgollitas got a freekick which was hit by Santo Cameno. After 56 played minutes Las Gorgollitas got a freekick which was hit by Gaztea Fuente. Azarruya's Tomi Prats got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Las Gorgollitas's zone, Tomi Prats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fagondo Incera came out of the goal and Tomi Prats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guaberto Vadillos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaztea Fuente kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Las Gorgollitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martino Unzueta to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Las Gorgollitas's Fagondo Incera got control of the ball when Tomi Prats tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute Sergio Diez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fagondo Incera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertran Amorebieta charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bertran Amorebieta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Azarruya's Bertran Amorebieta got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Tomi Prats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fagondo Incera having to interfere. A collision led to Azarruya getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Feliberto Odín hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes Las Gorgollitas got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Domenech. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
