Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Avila in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xalo Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nando Pareja was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. Puente De Jontoya AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rosalio Barrios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Xalo Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Valdègrana booed when Puente De Jontoya AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Valdègrana's Rosalio Barrios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xalo Santiago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 21 played minutes Puente De Jontoya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fagondo Ocaña. Xalo Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Avila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gaizka Mayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xalo Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosalio Barrios, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Puente De Jontoya AFC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Osvaldo Fabelo hit a great ball. Mohamed Mangas succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to get real power on a long shot . Puente De Jontoya AFC's Xalo Santiago hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! Pacorro Nobo charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pacorro Nobo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Valdègrana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pacorro Nobo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Pareja in the 36th minute of play forced Valdègrana's goalkeeper Nando Gabas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nando Pareja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nando Gabas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Avila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Xalo Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Puente De Jontoya AFC reached it. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puente De Jontoya AFC's goalkeeper Xalo Santiago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xuaco Rossello during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nando Gabas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaizka Mayor in the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, Puente De Jontoya AFC's Xalo Santiago got control of the ball when Victor Avila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mark Castro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Xalo Santiago came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Valdègrana's Rosalio Barrios. But to his dismay, Rosalio Barrios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Fulgencio Jaraba charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulgencio Jaraba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fulgencio Jaraba kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Gaizka Mayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nando Gabas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Pareja, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaizka Mayor in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nando Gabas saved Valdègrana from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Valdègrana's Rosalio Barrios dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Valdègrana eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
