Vic FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urnieta the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vic FC's Che Perez got a free kick in the 6th minute. Guillen Macho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quico Llorente having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Roque Ortega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Turienzo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Guillen Macho struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Quico Llorente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vic FC. After a defensive mix-up in Urnieta's zone, Guillen Macho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quico Llorente came out of the goal and Guillen Macho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quico Llorente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richie Quijana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Natxo Jaen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Guillen Macho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vic FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillen Macho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Gonzalo Turienzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Guillen Macho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillen Macho struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Quico Llorente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vic FC. In the 48th minute, Roque Ortega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Gonzalo Turienzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natxo Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Urnieta's Nayely Nunez got a free kick in the 57th minute. Quico Llorente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Ribeiro in the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rexino Arratia in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natxo Jaen saved Vic FC from getting behind. After 69 played minutes Vic FC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Ortega. After a rather tough play, Vic FC's Che Perez got a free kick in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Vic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Quijana came free, but Natxo Jaen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natxo Jaen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rexino Arratia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Urnieta were awarded a corner. Jorge Fonticoba went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Teodor Prieto heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Natxo Jaen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frances Riba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vic FC's Natxo Jaen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richie Quijana in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Vic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rexino Arratia came free, but Natxo Jaen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes, Josu Camaño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urnieta and the Vic FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Urnieta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vic FC for a fine match.
