After a rather tough play, Noreña's Ponciano Lacorte got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 6 minutes, Odilon Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noreña's supporters crossed their fingers, but Odilon Campos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramos Ziguenza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alba Bergada having to make a save. Alcadio Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Pancho Arribas's late challenge caught a Cornago SAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pancho Arribas helped the player get up and apologised. 18 minutes into the match, Nesto Font dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alba Bergada, 1-0. Nesto Font received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alba Bergada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Adulfo Montiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noreña and the Cornago SAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute Nesto Font shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alba Bergada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Nesto Font managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cornago SAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nesto Font was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramos Ziguenza struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Alba Bergada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cornago SAD. Alba Bergada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramos Ziguenza in the 39th minute. Pancho Arribas might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Revuelta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pancho Arribas ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Noreña's Pancho Arribas got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alcadio Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alcadio Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 minutes Noreña's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Padro Fernandez who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Cornago SAD's corner Padro Fernandez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alba Bergada quite easily take care of the ball. Cornago SAD's Ismael Revuelta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Cornago SAD from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Noreña's zone, Ramos Ziguenza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alba Bergada came out of the goal and Ramos Ziguenza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Odilon Campos might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Revuelta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Odilon Campos ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramos Ziguenza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Remir Navas kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Odilon Campos lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Ismael Revuelta. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Noreña:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cornago SAD:s goal. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Cornago SAD. Padro Fernandez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alba Bergada. 2-1. In the 98thth minute of the game Nesto Font who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Noreña's Alba Bergada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
