An unexpectedly hard shot by Víctor Garay in the 14th minute of play forced Aranguren AFC's goalkeeper Vidal Villalcazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vidal Villalcazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víctor Garay, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Alfredo Navarro hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes Aranguren AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luis-Alfredo Treviño. Romeo Ocaña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Víctor Garay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Vidal Villalcazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicodemo Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Aranguren AFC defense, Nicodemo Diaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vidal Villalcazar. The Aranguren AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vidal Villalcazar should have stopped the shot. The Aranguren AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pamis were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicodemo Diaz was the one to do the kick off. Aarón Garrido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Llinares, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Romeo Ocaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidal Villalcazar having to interfere. When Nicodemo Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Pamis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicodemo Diaz couldn't finish the play. Vidal Villalcazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicodemo Diaz's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Aranguren AFC's Bilbo Gómez got a free kick in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Aranguren AFC's Vidal Villalcazar got control of the ball when Víctor Garay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pamis's Aarón Garrido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Llinares in the 68th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Aranguren AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Víctor Garay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vidal Villalcazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nacho Morado in the 80th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Alfredo Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aranguren AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Navarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Vladimir Llinares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicodemo Diaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vidal Villalcazar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Aranguren AFC's Urbano Zafrilla got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Pamis supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pamis would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
