When Joan Zubizarreta fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campo Redondo SAD's protests and gave Joan Zubizarreta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Campo Redondo SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joan Zubizarreta to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bartolo Verdaguer made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Fermín Marines got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Puendeluna AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidor Bouzon to maneuver through the defense. Gregorio Huarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Zubizarreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giorgio Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Huarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Zubizarreta in the 71st minute of play. After 76 minutes, Rami Zurica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campo Redondo SAD and the Puendeluna AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Braulio Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Verdaguer in the 80th minute of play. Braulio Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermín Marines in the 81st minute of the match. Rami Zurica kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match.
