Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oro Uria got the match started through his kick off. With his leg Ximun Grau managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Covet's Oro Uria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Frodo Fonticoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Fertus Sampil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zadornin Ortiz's late challenge caught a Covet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zadornin Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. Zadornin Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Julio Aceves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute Fertus Sampil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Benicalap FC's Frodo Fonticoba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leal Hidalgo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute Frodo Fonticoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Aitor Lastras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ximun Grau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oro Uria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Covet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aitor Lastras to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match Santi Carro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leal Hidalgo skillfully saved the ball. Fertus Sampil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leal Hidalgo having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frodo Fonticoba was the one to do the kick off. Ximun Grau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Aceves went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, Benicalap FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oro Uria came free, but Ximun Grau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Covet got a freekick which was hit by Garoa Albizua. Fertus Sampil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Aitor Lastras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 66 minutes, Frodo Fonticoba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benicalap FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frodo Fonticoba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leal Hidalgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frodo Fonticoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Benicalap FC's zone, Julio Aceves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ximun Grau came out of the goal and Julio Aceves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Zadornin Ortiz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. Ximun Grau came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Covet's Oro Uria. But to his dismay, Oro Uria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Julio Aceves struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ximun Grau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Covet. After a defensive mix-up in Covet's zone, Gabriel Carro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leal Hidalgo came out of the goal and Gabriel Carro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Covet's Leal Hidalgo got control of the ball when Fertus Sampil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frodo Fonticoba kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Benicalap FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
