Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Can Bros FC's Anchel Gene started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eliseo Vila might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedicto Baeza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Vila ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anchel Gene in the 4th minute of play forced Meliana AFC's goalkeeper Joan Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Heli Muelas fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Can Bros FC's protests and gave Heli Muelas a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Meliana AFC's Lauro Viqueira tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Joan Gil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anchel Gene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anchel Gene in the 16th minute of play forced Meliana AFC's goalkeeper Joan Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Bodelon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Joan Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Vila in the 22nd minute of play forced Can Bros FC's goalkeeper Benedicto Baeza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Bodelon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Joan Gil made a huge save. Anchel Gene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Eliseo Vila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meliana AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Vila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Xandro Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Baeza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Meliana AFC's goalkeeper Joan Gil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Bodelon. Benedicto Baeza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Vila, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of Meliana AFC booed when Can Bros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heli Muelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Xandro Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meliana AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Emilio Campoamor kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Joan Gil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anchel Gene, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Vila was the one to do the kick off. Heli Muelas got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Heli Muelas kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Eliseo Vila struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Benedicto Baeza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meliana AFC. 62 minutes into the match, Xandro Freire notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Can Bros FC's Benedicto Baeza. Benedicto Baeza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xandro Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Baeza having to interfere. Eliseo Vila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Benedicto Baeza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match Lorenzo Muelas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedicto Baeza skillfully saved the ball. In the 79th minute, Cristian Bodelon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute of the match Meliana AFC got a corner. Can Bros FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lauro Viqueira ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Martín Fuentes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to Can Bros FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Anchel Gene hit a great ball. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Can Bros FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lauro Viqueira was slow to take the kick. During this time Meliana AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Bittor Feal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Can Bros FC's Benedicto Baeza did a great save. In the 95th minute of the match, Eliseo Vila tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benedicto Baeza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Cristian Bodelon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
