Oliverio Campello made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Gonzalo Lorenzo sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xian Duran in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliverio Campello saved Cazorla from getting behind. Gonzalo Lorenzo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Oliverio Campello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almaraz. After 15 played minutes Xian Duran rounded Cazorla's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xian Duran in the 18th minute of play forced Cazorla's goalkeeper Oliverio Campello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee gave Cazorla a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aratz Solera, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Almaraz's Miro De la Rosa. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romano Gibert in the 24th minute of play forced Almaraz's goalkeeper Miro De la Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gitano Solo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Xian Duran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oliverio Campello. That made the score 3-1 in the 36 minute of play. Gitano Solo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Miro De la Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Gonzalo Lorenzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almaraz's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Lorenzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliverio Campello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cazorla's Hermenegildo Silvestre got a free kick in the 45th minute. Xian Duran spun around in front of the goal 46 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Cazorla's goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gitano Solo was the one to do the kick off. Xian Duran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliverio Campello having to interfere. Gonzalo Lorenzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Xian Duran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliverio Campello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Almaraz's Miro De la Rosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Almaraz from getting a goal against them. Xian Duran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliverio Campello having to interfere. When Vincent Valines fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cazorla's protests and gave Vincent Valines a yellow card for diving instead. Oliverio Campello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Lorenzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Gonzalo Lorenzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Almaraz's Xian Duran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliverio Campello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cazorla's Oliverio Campello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Lorenzo in the 82nd minute of play. Oliverio Campello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Lorenzo in the 86th minute of play. If Xian Duran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Almaraz fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cazorla had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
