Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fredo Olano took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Paco Ladra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Fernandez skillfully saved the ball. In the 8th match minute, Abandames was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bazil Mayol to maneuver through the defense. Tulio Huerta hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Paco Ladra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Fernan Valerón came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the El Grau De Castell AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernan Valerón couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Abandames's Bazil Mayol got a free kick in the 15th minute. A collision led to Abandames getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ugutz Bouzas hit a great ball. Paco Ladra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fidel Fernandez. Abandames's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fernan Valerón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Abandames got a freekick which was hit by Ugutz Bouzas. Fidel Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredo Olano in the 25th minute of the match. Luis Solana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pastor Incera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hechter Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hechter Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Solana in the 42nd minute of play. Arrosko Etxeberria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Fernandez having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Silverio Orbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidel Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Valerón in the 49th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Incera was the one to do the kick off. Fernan Valerón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Fidel Fernandez made a huge save. Pastor Incera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hechter Arias having to interfere. Fernan Valerón made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 65thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Fidel Fernandez would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 69th minute Fredo Olano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arrosko Etxeberria in the 71st minute of the match. With his leg Fidel Fernandez managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when El Grau De Castell AFC's Fernan Valerón fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Fredo Olano managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Grau De Castell AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredo Olano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fernan Valerón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Fernan Valerón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Grau De Castell AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Valerón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee gave Abandames a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vermudo Vagrande, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Grau De Castell AFC's Hechter Arias. 1-0.
