Rodas Doblas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Figueres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Rodas Doblas managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Antonio Abad AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodas Doblas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Figueres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in San Antonio Abad AFC's zone, Augusto Sarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovando Rua came out of the goal and Augusto Sarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Sarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovando Rua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolao Jaraba, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. San Antonio Abad AFC's Ovando Rua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Sarro in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolao Jaraba in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovando Rua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolao Jaraba struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ovando Rua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miranda FC. 88 minutes into the match, San Antonio Abad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Sarro came free, but Ovando Rua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
