Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eloy Silva got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoel Pascua got free with Delmiro Santiago in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 5th minute, Daniel Santalla fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 11 minutes into the match, Salt's Eloy Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlan Dorado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Eloy Silva came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Salt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Silva couldn't finish the play. Salt's Delmiro Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Santalla in the 15th minute of play. Paulino Barba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lluis Idiaquez kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Roberto Galego sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ceresa's Orlan Dorado didn't even have to move. Orlan Dorado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Silva in the 22nd minute of play. When Uxio Mayor came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Ceresa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uxio Mayor couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Curro Ortiz during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Curro Ortiz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Paulino Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zoel Pascuas short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Delmiro Santiago to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zoel Pascua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Delmiro Santiago made a huge save. Ceresa's Daniel Santalla got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Santalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Santiago having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Santalla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Orlan Dorado was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Paulino Barba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulino Barba really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. After 58 played minutes, Ceresa's Carolo Ocaña shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Delmiro Santiago came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ceresa reached it. After 59 minutes of play, Ceresa's Zoel Pascua made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmiro Santiago was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 63 minutes, Paulino Barba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Barba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulino Barba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlan Dorado having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoel Pascua in the 69th minute of play forced Salt's goalkeeper Delmiro Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoel Pascua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Santalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ceresa's Curro Ortiz got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Ceresa defense, Paulino Barba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlan Dorado. The Ceresa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlan Dorado should have stopped the shot. Allande Aizpurua's late challenge caught a Ceresa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allande Aizpurua helped the player get up and apologised. 87 minutes into the match, Zoel Pascua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Santiago. Salt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zoel Pascua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Santalla in the 91st minute of play forced Salt's goalkeeper Delmiro Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
