Barbera De La Conca's Julio Merino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Ortiz in the 7th minute of play. Belisario Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cerilo Barba in the 18th minute of the match. Belisario Paredes came out of the goal and Cerilo Barba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aniceto Aizpurua got free with Belisario Paredes in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cerilo Barba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aniceto Aizpurua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Belisario Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Julio Merino was a little too slow when Feliberto Ortiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-1. Cerilo Barba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belisario Paredes having to interfere. Julio Orbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. With his leg Julio Merino managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Maroño UD's Geleberto De la Rosa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 81 played minutes Barbera De La Conca got a freekick which was hit by Xurde Colsa. After 84 minutes of play Maroño UD's Eneto Vidal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Maroño UD's Eneto Vidal got a free kick in the 85th minute. Cerilo Barba might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Belisario Paredes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cerilo Barba ran back to his position shaking his head. Geleberto De la Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Merino having to interfere. Aniceto Aizpurua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Belisario Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
