Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orlo Bermudez started the match with the kick off. Bertol Pachecos short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Liberto Quintero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pierres Caminero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giraldo Morcego in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the Benimaclet AFC defense, Manolo Lagunas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierres Caminero. The Benimaclet AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierres Caminero should have stopped the shot. Pierres Caminero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolo Lagunas in the 16th minute of the match. Freddy Pedrosa shot from long distance in the 18th minute, but Liberto Quintero was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Bertol Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Liberto Quintero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Manolo Lagunas came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Frontera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolo Lagunas couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Giraldo Morcego got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolo Lagunas in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierres Caminero saved Benimaclet AFC from getting behind. In the 38th minute Manolo Lagunas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierres Caminero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bertol Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liberto Quintero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlo Bermudez in the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Benimaclet AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Giraldo Morcego came free, but Pierres Caminero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Benimaclet AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Frontera were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manolo Lagunas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Benimaclet AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Giraldo Morcego came free, but Pierres Caminero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liberto Quintero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertol Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liberto Quintero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlo Bermudez in the 67th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 68th minute when Bertol Pacheco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 73 minutes of play, Benimaclet AFC's Bertol Pacheco made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liberto Quintero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orlo Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Gumersindo Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Giraldo Morcego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Giraldo Morcego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frontera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giraldo Morcego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Benimaclet AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Arnoldo Zabalo hit a great ball. Ronaldo Garate, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Benimaclet AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
