Eufrasio Domingo might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cedro Redondo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eufrasio Domingo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Paco Novo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goyo Pascua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vigaña's Chayo Herrero got a free kick in the 18th minute. Paco Novo's late challenge caught a Conil De La Frontera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paco Novo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Paco Novo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cucao Lermo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cucao Lermo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paco Novo might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipo Molina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paco Novo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27thth minute of the game Paco Novo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conil De La Frontera's Felipo Molina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conil De La Frontera's Marco-Antonio Merino got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Vigaña's Cedro Redondo got control of the ball when Marco-Antonio Merino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paco Novo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goyo Pascua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipo Molina having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Vigaña got a freekick which was hit by Baraxil Toledo. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Eufrasio Domingo made the kick off in the second half. Marco-Antonio Merino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cedro Redondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Conil De La Frontera's Felipo Molina got control of the ball when Paco Novo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Marco-Antonio Merino came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Conil De La Frontera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco-Antonio Merino couldn't finish the play. Felipo Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goyo Pascua, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Paco Novo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 78th minute, Eufrasio Domingo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cedro Redondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 81 minutes into the match, Marco-Antonio Merino notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Vigaña's Cedro Redondo. Cedro Redondo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Conil De La Frontera's Marco-Antonio Merino got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Vigaña's goal looked a bit too open when Eufrasio Domingo came free, but Cedro Redondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Eufrasio Domingo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipo Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goyo Pascua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vigaña's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
