A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Puerto Sol's goalkeeper Xabel De Toro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agapito Sierra. In the 16th minute Arnaldo Aceves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xabel De Toro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Molinicos SD booed when Puerto Sol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garin Hevia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Puerto Sol's Antxoka Irureta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tome Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arnaldo Aceves took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xabel De Toro. Xabel De Toro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, Puerto Sol's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Aceves came free, but Xabel De Toro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Calvet Morcego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Aceves struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Xabel De Toro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molinicos SD. Arnaldo Aceves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xabel De Toro having to interfere. Xabel De Toro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agapito Sierra in the 39th minute. Puerto Sol's Xabel De Toro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Aceves in the 42nd minute of play. Agapito Sierra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Xabel De Toro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Arnaldo Aceves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molinicos SD's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Aceves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xabel De Toro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Aceves was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, one of Puerto Sol:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Molinicos SD a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Natalio Gene, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Puerto Sol's Xabel De Toro. 2-1. Xabel De Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Aceves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Puerto Sol's Xabel De Toro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agapito Sierra in the 72nd minute of play. Calvet Morcego hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Puerto Sol defense, Agapito Sierra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xabel De Toro. The Puerto Sol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xabel De Toro should have stopped the shot. Tome Romero came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Puerto Sol's Antxoka Irureta. But to his dismay, Antxoka Irureta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After 90 minutes of play Puerto Sol's Calvet Morcego was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Puerto Sol's Calvet Morcego got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Natalio Gene sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Puerto Sol's Xabel De Toro didn't even have to move. In the 94th minute, Agapito Sierra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xabel De Toro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agapito Sierra, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Agapito Sierra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Molinicos SD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Puerto Sol had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
