Zabala Belendiz CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elche FC the free kick. Amor Ramiréz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After having played for 54 minutes, Matia Fabelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacob Teresa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Idacio Saez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Teresa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cirilo Zaplana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Cirilo Zaplana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Jacob Teresa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes of play Zabala Belendiz CD's Amor Ramiréz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Amor Ramiréz hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Elche FC's Xalvador Leon tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Elche FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zabala Belendiz CD's performance. The match ended with a win for Zabala Belendiz CD.
