Baleren Justo's late challenge caught a Marchagaz SAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baleren Justo helped the player get up and apologised. Baleren Justo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Apat Menendez made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Perrando Portillo sent off a good shot on target. Marchagaz SAD's James Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahiano Mayor in the 19th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Marchagaz SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Carles Caballero came free, but James Mendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rio Verde's Apat Menendez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Verde from getting a goal against them. Canor Cabrera kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Marchagaz SAD's Rufino Alabern got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apat Menendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torcuato Cañadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Bahiano Mayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carles Caballero struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. James Mendez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Verde. Bahiano Mayor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Mendez having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Lauro Pujol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rio Verde and the Marchagaz SAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Rio Verde got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Pujol. Faustino Ocaña's late challenge caught a Marchagaz SAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Ocaña helped the player get up and apologised. Torcuato Cañadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carles Caballero to make the kick off. Perrando Portillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apat Menendez having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torcuato Cañadas in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apat Menendez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Marchagaz SAD's zone, Carles Caballero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. James Mendez came out of the goal and Carles Caballero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bahiano Mayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Marchagaz SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Carles Caballero came free, but James Mendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carles Caballero in the 66th minute of play forced Marchagaz SAD's goalkeeper James Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apat Menendez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torcuato Cañadas went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute, Torcuato Cañadas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apat Menendez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 76 minutes into the match, Rio Verde's Carles Caballero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that James Mendez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Torcuato Cañadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apat Menendez having to interfere. Bahiano Mayor struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. James Mendez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Verde. Marchagaz SAD's Tristan Echavarri got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Torcuato Cañadas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marchagaz SAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Torcuato Cañadas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apat Menendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
