Silvio Iniesta started the match with the kick off. Lia Campoamor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torcuato Cañadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. James Mendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Iniesta in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Torcuato Cañadas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lia Campoamor. Torcuato Cañadas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Silvio Iniesta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marnes's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Iniesta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. James Mendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimir Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Mendez having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Marchagaz SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Benítez to maneuver through the defense. After 16 played minutes, Marnes's Euloxu Ramiréz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper James Mendez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marnes reached it. In the 30th minute of the match Nastasio Novo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but James Mendez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. James Mendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Iniesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Silvio Iniesta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marchagaz SAD's James Mendez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vladimir Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Mendez having to interfere. The supporters of Marnes booed when Marchagaz SAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristan Echavarri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Marnes's Silvio Iniesta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that James Mendez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Marnes fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Marnes's Silvio Iniesta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Marnes's Bruno Vacas got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torcuato Cañadas was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Silvio Iniesta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of James Mendez, 1-2. After 63 minutes, Rufino Alabern mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marchagaz SAD and the Marnes players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Marchagaz SAD getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Rufino Alabern hit a great ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Silvio Iniesta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marchagaz SAD's James Mendez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vladimir Orozco kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Perrando Portillo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Lia Campoamor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marchagaz SAD. Torcuato Cañadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lia Campoamor having to interfere. James Mendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Iniesta in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Marchagaz SAD booed when Marnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xicu Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Iniesta in the 96th minute of play forced Marchagaz SAD's goalkeeper James Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
