In the 3rd minute Vincente Nadal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norino Aranzubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Martutene FC's Altzibar Jofre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norino Aranzubia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Huly Dorado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Los Berrazales's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Los Berrazales booed when Martutene FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincente Nadal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jago Maroto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mino Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Altzibar Jofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martutene FC's Mino Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norino Aranzubia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mino Alvarez in the 41st minute of play. If Mino Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Berrazales's Norino Aranzubia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mino Alvarez in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mino Alvarez was the one to do the kick off. If Jago Maroto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Berrazales's Huly Dorado got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Martutene FC's goal looked a bit too open when Huly Dorado came free, but Sabino Benedicto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jago Maroto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sabino Benedicto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jago Maroto, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Martutene FC's goal looked a bit too open when Huly Dorado came free, but Sabino Benedicto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62ndth minute of the game Jago Maroto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martutene FC's Sabino Benedicto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sabino Benedicto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jago Maroto in the 69th minute of play. Martutene FC's Sabino Benedicto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huly Dorado in the 70th minute of play. If Huly Dorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Berrazales's Jago Maroto got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Altzibar Jofre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martutene FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Altzibar Jofre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norino Aranzubia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute Mino Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norino Aranzubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benvido Obis charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benvido Obis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Martutene FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Benvido Obis hit a great ball. Jago Maroto struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Sabino Benedicto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Berrazales. Vincente Nadal's late challenge caught a Los Berrazales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincente Nadal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Vincente Nadal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huly Dorado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Jago Maroto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Berrazales's supporters rose to their feet, but Jago Maroto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabino Benedicto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
