But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Altzibar Jofre couldn't finish the play. Altzibar Jofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Altzibar Jofre could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Peyo Sans however easily saved by the left post. Sabino Benedicto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Aranzubia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xesc Sarrate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patricio Aranzubia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Aranzubia kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mino Alvarez in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peyo Sans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Lozen's Iosu Baltanas got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes in the game, Mino Alvarez dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Peyo Sans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Altzibar Jofre in the 57th minute of play. Altzibar Jofre might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peyo Sans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Altzibar Jofre ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute Mino Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peyo Sans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Aranzubia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peyo Sans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altzibar Jofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Altzibar Jofre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Peyo Sans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute, Xesc Sarrate left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lozen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
