An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesus Talavera in the 3rd minute of play forced Sanlúcar De Barrameda's goalkeeper Anton Garay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xesus Talavera might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Garay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xesus Talavera ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the game, Las Palas's Frisco Feliu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Garay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 21st match minute, Sanlúcar De Barrameda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karmel Colsa to maneuver through the defense. Hustaz Montero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anton Garay. Sanlúcar De Barrameda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xesus Talavera hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Las Palas's Benjamin Sampil got control of the ball when Lonzo Vila tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sanlúcar De Barrameda's Pau Goyanes got a free kick in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Las Palas's Frisco Feliu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Garay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Las Palas got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Blazquez. Benjamin Sampil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pau Goyanes in the 47th minute of the match. The Sanlúcar De Barrameda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Las Palas were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Abejundio Rey made the kick off in the second half. When Damario Checa fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanlúcar De Barrameda's protests and gave Damario Checa a yellow card for diving instead. Damario Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Frisco Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Las Palas getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Luis Alcantara hit a great ball. Benjamin Sampil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lonzo Vila, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Benjamin Sampil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abejundio Rey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Las Palas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pau Goyanes was slow to take the kick. During this time Sanlúcar De Barrameda's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Pau Goyanes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Las Palas's Benjamin Sampil did a great save. Benjamin Sampil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abejundio Rey in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Lonzo Vila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
