Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lugo's Ugutz Doblas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jesús Puyol kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute Jerold Sauca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerold Morientes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tangel's Luke Marcilla in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lugo's goalie prevented a goal. Jerold Morientes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerold Sauca, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Guillermo Amer kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Tangel's Virgilio Dorado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ugutz Doblas in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Macedonio Erosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luke Marcilla scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerold Morientes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 26 played minutes, Tangel's Alfredo Hernandez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jerold Morientes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tangel reached it. If Luke Marcilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luke Marcilla in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerold Morientes saved Lugo from getting behind. Jerold Morientes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerold Sauca, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Jerold Morientes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Marcilla in the 41st minute of play. Tangel's Luke Marcilla got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luke Marcilla scored 0-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerold Morientes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the game, Jesús Puyol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tangel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lugo the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Tangel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesús Puyol to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Marcilla in the 58th minute of play forced Lugo's goalkeeper Jerold Morientes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Ugutz Doblas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ugutz Doblas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ugutz Doblas in the 64th minute of play forced Tangel's goalkeeper Virgilio Dorado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marin Clos during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marin Clos hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Jerold Sauca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerold Sauca got free with Jerold Morientes in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the game, Luke Marcilla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerold Morientes. Luke Marcilla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Ugutz Doblas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerold Morientes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Marcilla in the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Tangel got a freekick which was hit by Cai Uria. Casado Zaplana hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Luke Marcilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerold Morientes having to interfere. Jerold Sauca in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jerold Morientes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jerold Sauca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Jerold Morientes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lugo's zone, Luke Marcilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerold Morientes came out of the goal and Luke Marcilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Tangel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lugo.
