Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Tangel booed when Matalascañas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matalascañas AFC's Estefan Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Matalascañas AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Pere Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rdth minute of the game Luke Marcilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matalascañas AFC's Estefan Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tangel's zone, Basilio Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Dorado came out of the goal and Basilio Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Jerold Sauca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tangel's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerold Sauca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Estefan Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luke Marcilla was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Matalascañas AFC defense, Luke Marcilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Estefan Ramos. The Matalascañas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Estefan Ramos should have stopped the shot. After 55 played minutes Tangel got a freekick which was hit by Jesús Puyol. Virgilio Dorado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pau Helguera's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Jerold Sauca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Estefan Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estefan Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerold Sauca, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Basilio Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Dorado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Matalascañas AFC's zone, Jerold Sauca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Estefan Ramos came out of the goal and Jerold Sauca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pau Helguera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basilio Santoss short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Virgilio Dorado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Estefan Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerold Sauca, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 77 played minutes Tangel got a freekick which was hit by Efraín Clemente. Pericles Lagunas charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pericles Lagunas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pericles Lagunas hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Luke Marcilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estefan Ramos having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Matalascañas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tulio Candamil. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tangel fans cheered their team off the field, for while Matalascañas AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
