After a rather tough play, Raimat's Richie Aguado got a free kick in the 7th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Kiko Campomanes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lonzo Garzon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Richie Aguado's late challenge caught a Lugar Nuevo De La Corona AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richie Aguado helped the player get up and apologised. Raimat's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Venancio Lorenzo scored to the left of an out of position Marquez Rapado, making the score, 1-1. In the 26th minute, Delmiro Gomar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Raimat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 30th minute of the match Manuel Baños sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lonzo Garzon skillfully saved the ball. Manolo Castillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Marquez Rapado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fructuoso Madariaga during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Lugar Nuevo De La Corona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fructuoso Madariaga to maneuver through the defense. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Venancio Lorenzo made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Venancio Lorenzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmiro Gomar struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Lonzo Garzon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raimat. When Kiko Campomanes came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Raimat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiko Campomanes couldn't finish the play. When Cirino Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raimat's protests and gave Cirino Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Raimat fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Pepe Barrientos placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Lugar Nuevo De La Corona AFC's Fructuoso Madariaga got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Fructuoso Madariaga off the ground. In the 76th minute, Fructuoso Madariaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Raimat booed when Lugar Nuevo De La Corona AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelayo Treviño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimat's Kiko Campomanes got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lonzo Garzon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cecilio Alonso during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Raimat got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Alonso. Kiko Campomanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonzo Garzon having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Raimat eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
