Petronio Hidalgo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petronio Solera in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garaile Blanco in the 5th minute of play forced Lezo FC's goalkeeper Petronio Hidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petronio Solera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petronio Hidalgo having to make a save. Garaile Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Petronio Hidalgo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lezo FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Zarbonin Etxeberria hit a great ball. Petronio Solera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Petronio Hidalgo made a huge save. Nabar Helguera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jusepe Etxeberria went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jusepe Etxeberria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nabar Helguera having to interfere. When Adolfo Taules fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lezo FC's protests and gave Adolfo Taules a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Adolfo Taules hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Tonyà's Quique Olano tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garaile Blanco in the 48th minute of play forced Lezo FC's goalkeeper Petronio Hidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Tonyà's Nabar Helguera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jusepe Etxeberria in the 54th minute of play. Jusepe Etxeberria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nabar Helguera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Lezo FC got a freekick which was hit by David Morado. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Garaile Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tonyà's supporters rose to their feet, but Garaile Blanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petronio Hidalgo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jusepe Etxeberria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nabar Helguera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jusepe Etxeberria's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 67th match minute, Lezo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víctor Caballero to maneuver through the defense. Lezo FC's Petronio Hidalgo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petronio Solera in the 68th minute of play. Petronio Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garaile Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Petronio Hidalgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garaile Blanco in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Lezo FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Víctor Caballero hit a great ball. Petronio Hidalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petronio Solera in the 76th minute of the match. Marco Nueva kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Nabar Helguera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juanito Naranjo in the 83rd minute of the match. Jusepe Etxeberria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nabar Helguera having to interfere. Tonyà's Nabar Helguera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Tonyà from getting a goal against them. Nabar Helguera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zarbonin Etxeberria in the 90th minute. Jusepe Etxeberria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marco Nueva came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Tonyà fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Nueva couldn't finish the play. Petronio Solera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lezo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
