Cortes FC's Madaleno Escurza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serapio Canal in the 5th minute of play. When Anselmo Estrada came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Beneixama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Estrada couldn't finish the play. After having played for 15 minutes, Serapio Canal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beneixama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serapio Canal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hori Ramos was a little too slow when Hassan Gandia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. Zernin Casado struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Hori Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cortes FC. When Macario Muelas fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beneixama's protests and gave Macario Muelas a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Beneixama:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cortes FC:s goal. Hori Ramos went to the wrong direction when Benedicto Munoz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 34th minute, Hassan Gandia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beneixama's goalkeeper Hori Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hori Ramos made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Zernin Casado sent off a good shot on target. If Hassan Gandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serapio Canal to strike the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Estrada came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Madaleno Escurza could save by the left post. Serapio Canal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Madaleno Escurza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hassan Gandia came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Cortes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hassan Gandia couldn't finish the play. Dante Castelao's late challenge caught a Beneixama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Castelao helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Beneixama booed when Cortes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Castelao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hori Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassan Gandia in the 89th minute of play. Damario Mera kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Serapio Canal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Beneixama players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cortes FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
