Aristeo Saboya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristeo Saboya who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Generoso Leyva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ugaitz Lorenzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curcio Ballesteros in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delfino Checa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Montilla CF's Delfino Checa got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 63rd minute Jacques Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Leyva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Curcio Ballesteros got free with Ugaitz Lorenzo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
