Montañana SAD's Oto Pais got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norino Zabalo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oto Pais went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Chepe Feal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Talladell FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Gaizka Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norino Zabalo made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Oto Pais sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in El Talladell FC's zone, Víctor Fresnos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norino Zabalo came out of the goal and Víctor Fresnos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norino Zabalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víctor Fresnos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Montañana SAD booed when El Talladell FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis-Alfredo Raya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Oto Pais could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Norino Zabalo however easily saved by the left post. Adriano De la Torre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chepe Feal to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Oto Pais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Talladell FC's Norino Zabalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oto Pais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oto Pais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Norino Zabalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Víctor Fresnos spun around in front of the goal 60 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of El Talladell FC's goal. After some careless play in the El Talladell FC defense, Oto Pais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norino Zabalo. The El Talladell FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norino Zabalo should have stopped the shot. El Talladell FC's Norino Zabalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víctor Fresnos in the 71st minute of play. When Musko De Toro fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montañana SAD's protests and gave Musko De Toro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Montañana SAD's Musko De Toro got a free kick in the 73rd minute. El Talladell FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Víctor Fresnos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Montañana SAD's Crescencio Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chepe Feal in the 91st minute of play. El Talladell FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
