Lluciano Uria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Abajas in the 6th minute of play. If Pastor Gomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Calella De Palafrugell FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Tabb Balcells hit a great ball. Lluciano Uria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Abajas in the 20th minute of the match. If Toni Zubiaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Yago Colillas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Palomar. Calella De Palafrugell FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yago Colillas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Paterna FC's zone, Nacho Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lluciano Uria came out of the goal and Nacho Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Rubén Verdaguer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calella De Palafrugell FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paterna FC the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Calella De Palafrugell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubén Verdaguer to maneuver through the defense. Yago Colillas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lluciano Uria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Gomar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lluciano Uria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Abajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Pastor Gomar scored 1-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lluciano Uria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Pastor Gomar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calella De Palafrugell FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Gomar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lluciano Uria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pastor Gomar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lluciano Uria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pastor Gomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paterna FC's Lluciano Uria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Abajas in the 78th minute of play. If Yago Colillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toni Zubiaga got free with Julio Palomar in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute, Toni Zubiaga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Yago Colillas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Julio Palomar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Gomar in the 96th minute of play forced Paterna FC's goalkeeper Lluciano Uria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Paterna FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
