Leocadio Mezquita hit a great ball. Lucio Ponte struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Julio Palomar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retamar AFC. In the 21st minute, Pastor Gomar made a precise shot to the right of Victor Griego. Retamar AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 24 minutes, Rubén Verdaguer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calella De Palafrugell FC and the Retamar AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Calella De Palafrugell FC got a freekick which was hit by Rubén Verdaguer. If Lucio Ponte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Retamar AFC's Felix Carreira got a free kick in the 34th minute. The supporters of Calella De Palafrugell FC booed when Retamar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leocadio Mezquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raymond Dulce was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pastor Gomar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leocadio Mezquita was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 48 minutes had been played. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pastor Gomar made a kick off. A collision led to Calella De Palafrugell FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pastor Gomar hit a great ball. Raymond Dulce's late challenge caught a Retamar AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymond Dulce helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Calella De Palafrugell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Dulce to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Ponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Pastor Gomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tabb Balcells kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Julio Palomar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Ponte, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Felix Carreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Palomar having to interfere. When Pastor Gomar came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Calella De Palafrugell FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Gomar couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tabb Balcells in the 86th minute of play forced Retamar AFC's goalkeeper Victor Griego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Talavera scored 1-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Palomar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucio Ponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimas Riba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Lucio Ponte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Retamar AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Ponte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Silvestre hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
