Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cartellà's Gilberto Jaen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cartellà's goalkeeper Froilan Zamora, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giorgio Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Zamora having to interfere. Cristobal Dorado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Flor Alcantara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldover's Flor Alcantara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Dorado in the 14th minute of play. Giorgio Marques struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Froilan Zamora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aldover. Gilberto Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, one of Aldover:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aldover. Carlos Sainz charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Sainz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Aldover:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cartellà:s goal. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Cartellà. Modesto Roig stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Flor Alcantara. 0-3. 35 minutes into the game, Brais Buendia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cartellà's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aldover the free kick. A collision led to Cartellà getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Brais Buendia hit a great ball. Giorgio Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Froilan Zamora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Sigfrido Carro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aldover's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigfrido Carro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giorgio Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sigfrido Carro made a kick off. Brais Buendia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giorgio Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Zamora having to interfere. If Cristobal Dorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flor Alcantara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Dorado in the 71st minute. Giorgio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Aldover's zone, Cristobal Dorado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flor Alcantara came out of the goal and Cristobal Dorado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cartellà's Gilberto Jaen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flor Alcantara. That made the score 1-4 after 77 minutes of play. Victorio Amorebieta kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A hard shot 84 in the game by Cristobal Dorado from a close distance when the talented Flor Alcantara managed to make a qualified save. Aldover's players were relieved. The supporters of Cartellà booed when Aldover was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edur Lopez de Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flor Alcantara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Dorado in the 93rd minute. The Cartellà supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cartellà would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
