Fortiá FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escariche the free kick. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fortiá FC! Ciriaco Blazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amaro Herrero having to interfere. Quico Acedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Amaro Herrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amaro Herrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Blazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emmanuel Camacho kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Inocencio Gomar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esquipula Fernandez having to interfere. If Marcos Saura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amaro Herrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Blazquez in the 21st minute of the match. In the 26th minute Ciriaco Blazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amaro Herrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Fortiá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cresitobalo Zubizarreta to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Ciriaco Blazquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amaro Herrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quico Acedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Quico Acedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fortiá FC's Amaro Herrero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Fortiá FC defense, Quico Acedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amaro Herrero. The Fortiá FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amaro Herrero should have stopped the shot. Quico Acedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Fortiá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quico Acedo came free, but Amaro Herrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Quico Acedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escariche's supporters rose to their feet, but Quico Acedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amaro Herrero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Fortiá FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Escariche were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciriaco Blazquez was the one to do the kick off. Amaro Herrero made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Quico Acedo sent off a good shot on target. Ciriaco Blazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amaro Herrero having to interfere. When Eneto Acosta fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortiá FC's protests and gave Eneto Acosta a yellow card for diving instead. Eneto Acosta kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Amaro Herrero acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gonsalve Galdamez. Bertran Gonzáles hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Escariche's Ciriaco Blazquez in 58 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Amaro Herrero guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Eneto Acosta was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Escariche booed when Fortiá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eneto Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amaro Herrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Blazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Fortiá FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Sánchez. Ciriaco Blazquez struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Amaro Herrero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escariche. If Quico Acedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Blazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Fortiá FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Raimundo Freire hit a great ball. Ciriaco Blazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Amaro Herrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quico Acedo got free with Amaro Herrero in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute, Ciriaco Blazquez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Amaro Herrero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quico Acedo in the 88th minute. Amaro Herrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Blazquez's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Fortiá FC's Inocencio Gomar got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justin Ucero during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Justin Ucero hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Escariche's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
