Leonardo Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imanol Carreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zoilo Cuevas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cisco Abrego, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Imanol Carreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Leonardo Cabrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Angel's Leonardo Cabrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save El Angel from getting a goal against them. Petri Sirvent kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A hard shot by Artzai Aizpurua from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Leonardo Cabrera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Cisco Abrego came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the El Angel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cisco Abrego couldn't finish the play. The supporters of El Angel booed when Beniarbeig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asensio Estruch didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Angel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beniarbeig the free kick. Zoilo Cuevas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cisco Abrego in the 62nd minute of the match. El Angel's Leonardo Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Imanol Carreira in the 68th minute of play. Imanol Carreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cisco Abrego might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zoilo Cuevas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cisco Abrego ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the match, Beniarbeig's Adalberto Palencia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Cabrera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute, El Angel's Cisco Abrego ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zoilo Cuevas. Zoilo Cuevas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Leonardo Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Palencia in the 89th minute of play. Adalberto Palencia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leroy Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The El Angel supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Angel would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
