Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Renato Veloso made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes El Mallol got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Carreira. In the 5th minute Marcio Carceles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nagoi Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ontígola's goalkeeper Fabio Palacios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Eutropio Pedriza managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Mallol's supporters rose to their feet, but Eutropio Pedriza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Palacios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Eutropio Pedriza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ontígola's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Eutropio Pedriza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Mallol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Renato Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Nagoi Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Zaquiel Puig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ontígola and the El Mallol players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ontígola getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Zaquiel Puig hit a great ball. El Mallol's Eutropio Pedriza got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marcio Carceles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Barrios in the 35th minute of play forced Ontígola's goalkeeper Fabio Palacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Palacios made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Eutropio Pedriza sent off a good shot on target. Mustafá Valerón hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Montez Vagrande missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 44 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Fabio Palacios right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Barrios to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ontígola's Renato Veloso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nagoi Abad. Nagoi Abad yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Nagoi Abad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcio Carceles in the 57th minute. When Ontígola's Renato Veloso in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Mallol's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, El Mallol's Nagoi Abad got control of the ball when Marcio Carceles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nagoi Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcio Carceles made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 65thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Nagoi Abad would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 66 played minutes El Mallol got a freekick which was hit by Feliu Serena. In the 68th match minute, Ontígola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ontígola booed when El Mallol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montez Vagrande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ontígola's Mustafá Valerón couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for El Mallol. Gustavo Barrios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Palacios having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Renato Veloso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nagoi Abad, 1-3. Renato Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iratxo Barral hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Eutropio Pedriza struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Fabio Palacios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Mallol. The Ontígola supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ontígola would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
