Benialfaqui SD's Modesto Benedicto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Acarreta in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Benialfaqui SD getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jesús Marcos hit a great ball. Modesto Benedicto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofronio Hidalgo in the 15th minute of the match. Raúl Acarreta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Benedicto having to interfere. Midas Unzueta charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Midas Unzueta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Benialfaqui SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Zapata to maneuver through the defense. Corverica's Raúl Acarreta got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Sofronio Hidalgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Benedicto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Corverica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Bergada to maneuver through the defense. Esquipula Palencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mino Companys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sofronio Hidalgo made a kick off. Raúl Acarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Benedicto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Benialfaqui SD's zone, Sofronio Hidalgo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Benedicto came out of the goal and Sofronio Hidalgo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sofronio Hidalgo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modesto Benedicto having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Modesto Benedicto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Midas Unzueta hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes, Esquipula Palencia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Benialfaqui SD and the Corverica players grew even worse after the yellow card. 77 minutes into the game, Jesús Marcos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benialfaqui SD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corverica the free kick. After 77 played minutes Benialfaqui SD got a freekick which was hit by Jesús Marcos. The supporters of Benialfaqui SD booed when Corverica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Midas Unzueta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raúl Acarreta got free with Modesto Benedicto in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
