After 15 minutes, Yoel Canosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garin and the Aguilar De Codes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Garin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aguilar De Codes:s goal. Maule Litago went to the wrong direction when David Rojas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Aguilar De Codes's goalkeeper Karlo Palomar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qwinton Morado. If Montay Tobias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Qwinton Morado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karlo Palomar having to make a save. Montay Tobias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Regis Llinares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garin's Maule Litago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maule Litago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis-Alfredo Jauregui in the 34th minute of the match. Antonio Escobar hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Luis-Alfredo Jauregui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Escobar scored 1-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karlo Palomar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
