In the 6th minute Nicolao Duran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Zubiaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mortera SD booed when Tales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepito Solano didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iyan Puig in the 8th minute of play forced Tales's goalkeeper Cipriano Zubiaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Mortera SD's Iyan Puig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cipriano Zubiaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tales's Antxoka Cuervas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Clemencin Acosta but with some difficulty. Gentza Palanques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemencin Acosta having to interfere. After 16th play minutes Cristobal Rosas shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Clemencin Acosta and just under the crossbar into goal. Cipriano Zubiaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iyan Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Rosas in the 28th minute of play forced Mortera SD's goalkeeper Clemencin Acosta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tales's Cristobal Rosas got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Mortera SD got a freekick which was hit by Moncho Taules. Nicolao Duran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cipriano Zubiaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Nicolao Duran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mortera SD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gentza Palanques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemencin Acosta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Clemencin Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Rosas in the 61st minute of the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Gentza Palanques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mortera SD's Clemencin Acosta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iyan Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolao Duran in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cipriano Zubiaga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nicolao Duran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Zubiaga having to interfere.
