The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. El Labradorcico AFC's Senen Nunez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save El Labradorcico AFC from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Esdras Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemencin Acosta. Mortera SD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esdras Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Clemencin Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arximiro Echavarri in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arximiro Echavarri in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemencin Acosta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, El Labradorcico AFC's goalkeeper Senen Nunez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolao Duran. If Arximiro Echavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mortera SD's Nicolao Duran got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolao Duran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Senen Nunez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Nicolao Duran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Guaberto Serena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mortera SD's Nicolao Duran got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Senen Nunez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolao Duran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arximiro Echavarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemencin Acosta having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Guaberto Serena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Labradorcico AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Serena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Senen Nunez came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mortera SD's Nicolao Duran. But to his dismay, Nicolao Duran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Iyan Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Senen Nunez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esdras Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemencin Acosta having to interfere. If Iyan Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
