Triquivijate SD's Reynaldo Montaña couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bentolea. Ioseba Griful showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gitano Sacristán, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes in the game, Loreto Zurica fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nastasio Riba having to interfere. García Zaplana might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nastasio Riba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. García Zaplana ran back to his position shaking his head. Ioseba Griful made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordarell Campoamor in the 35th minute of play. Gitano Sacristán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loreto Zurica made a kick off. Cordarell Campoamor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ioseba Griful tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gitano Sacristán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gitano Sacristán managed to get in a good position for a shot. Triquivijate SD's supporters rose to their feet, but Gitano Sacristán was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ioseba Griful breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Triquivijate SD's Gitano Sacristán got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cambranes Vicente kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gitano Sacristán in the 69th minute of play forced Bentolea's goalkeeper Ioseba Griful to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. García Zaplana struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Nastasio Riba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bentolea. After a defensive mix-up in Bentolea's zone, Gitano Sacristán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ioseba Griful came out of the goal and Gitano Sacristán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ioseba Griful took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gitano Sacristán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes Triquivijate SD got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Higuera. Loreto Zurica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nastasio Riba having to interfere. Cordarell Campoamor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
