In the 9th minute, García Zaplana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Figueres AFC's goal looked a bit too open when García Zaplana came free, but Danilo Gonzáles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, García Zaplana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Danilo Gonzáles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th match minute, Figueres AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlo Zubiaga to maneuver through the defense. When Bentolea's Loreto Zurica in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eusebio Pacheco hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After having played for 38 minutes, García Zaplana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bentolea's supporters crossed their fingers, but García Zaplana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Loreto Zurica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Gonzáles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Figueres AFC's Danilo Gonzáles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loreto Zurica in the 46th minute of play. Tonio Landa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Ioseba Griful skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Tonio Landa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Orlo Zubiaga sped through Bentolea's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ioseba Griful. Bentolea's Ioseba Griful played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlo Zubiaga in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, García Zaplana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bentolea's supporters rose to their feet, but García Zaplana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Gonzáles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Loreto Zurica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Gonzáles having to interfere. García Zaplana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 played minutes Figueres AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ted Pantoja. Loreto Zurica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Gonzáles having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Orlo Zubiaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ioseba Griful was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Eusebio Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Bentolea's Loreto Zurica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Gonzáles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
