In the 3rd minute Alifonso Murcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Riba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 played minutes El Hoyo got a freekick which was hit by Gau Villa. After a rather tough play, El Hoyo's Aratz Urbina got a free kick in the 5th minute. Juan De Silva was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alifonso Murcia charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alifonso Murcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Alifonso Murcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Aznar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Morcego in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, El Hoyo's Felipo Ruiz got a free kick in the 11th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Charches AFC's Juan De Silva tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Moisés Morcego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Fermín Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gau Villa scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseo Riba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the game, El Hoyo's Fernando Orozco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Riba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Felipo Ruiz fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Hoyo's protests and gave Felipo Ruiz a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes El Hoyo got a freekick which was hit by Felipo Ruiz. 34 minutes into the match, Charches AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gau Villa came free, but Eliseo Riba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Felipo Ruiz made a precise shot to the right of Eliseo Riba. Charches AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Orozco to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gau Villa got free with Eliseo Riba in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th match minute, El Hoyo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alifonso Murcia to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd match minute, Charches AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabier Roman to maneuver through the defense. If Gau Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Riba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Orozco in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Gau Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andres Aznar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermín Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipo Ruiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Riba having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Charches AFC's zone, Gau Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Riba came out of the goal and Gau Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Fernando Orozco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseo Riba was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, El Hoyo's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Morcego came free, but Andres Aznar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Charches AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Hoyo's performance. The match ended with a win for El Hoyo.
