The ball had pretty good speed, but Otero Torrente firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 22nd minute of the match Brujuelo got a corner. San Julián's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tipi Batuecas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Brujuelo's Vistruario Macías got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brujuelo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Genaro De Paula was slow to take the kick. During this time San Julián's players had a chance to rest. Genaro De Paula made a great header on San Julián's corner, it was just that Brujuelo's Feliberto Carreira managed to reach the ball for a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in San Julián fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brujuelo's goalkeeper Feliberto Carreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Otero Torrente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omero Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute Egun Cazorla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otero Torrente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amuruza Gutierrez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Feliberto Carreira made a huge save.
